Our Team

Dr. Kristen Reed is a seasoned and passionate educational leader with over 25 years of experience in K–12 education. She is widely respected for her ability to foster strong relationships, cultivate inclusive school cultures, and implement data-informed strategies that drive student achievement and staff growth.

Most recently, Dr. Reed served as Principal at Central City Cyberschool in Milwaukee, where she led school improvement initiatives and managed operations for a diverse student population. Her leadership is defined by transparent communication, strategic planning, and a deep commitment to supporting both students and educators.

Throughout her career, Dr. Reed has held principal positions at several Wisconsin schools, including Racine Unified School District, Destiny High School, and Capitol West Academy. In these roles, she championed curriculum innovation, built strong community partnerships, and mentored instructional teams toward excellence. She also served as Human Resources Director for the Whitnall School District, where she expanded her leadership reach by advancing employee relations and strengthening workplace culture.

Dr. Reed began her career as an English teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools, where her dedication earned her the “Teacher of the Year” award in 1998. She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Cardinal Stritch University.

A member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Dr. Reed remains deeply committed to promoting excellence, equity, and engagement in all educational environments. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Urban Preparatory Academy, a teen outreach program dedicated to empowering youth in urban communities.

Dr. Breonna Stone is a dedicated professional with a Ph.D. in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service. She specializes in organizational efficiency, team management, and strategic growth, with expertise in budgeting, project management, grant writing, and fundraising to support operational and financial success.  She has taught leadership, negotiation, project management, and computer skills at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Bryant & Stratton College, always finding joy in equipping future leaders with the tools they need to thrive. Passionate about equity and innovation, Dr. Stone is committed to creating opportunities for underserved communities through strategic leadership and collaboration. 

Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, practicing yoga, and spending time with her niece and nephews. 

My Name is Dortha Harris-Luckett, and I am proud to be the Office Manager at HOPE Caritas. We are a family committed to raising a village. I believe when parents and teachers work together as one - with God - we can accomplish anything!!!  I am a Credentialed Childhood Care Educator. It is my belief that learning starts from the day a child is born, and that all children should be loved, cared for with respect, and seen as unique individuals with purpose and destiny!

Justin Moore graduated from the university of Marian with a degree in communications and a minor in sports recreation and management. He loves to travel, workout, shop and watch scholars reach their full potential. Mr. Moore is always around to assist around the school in anyway necessary. He loves what he does and to see kids learning and behaving is what makes his days at school very pleasant.

Jazmin Ratliff graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Social Welfare. With several years of experience working with children in various domains, including teaching 1st and 2nd grade. She has developed a strong passion for guiding young learners through both the fundamentals of life and education.

Known for creating a positive and loving classroom culture, she has been recognized for fostering an environment where students thrive. Jazmin’s dedication to student growth is reflected in consistently high MAP scores, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence. As of the 24-25 school year, she has transitioned into the role of Dean of Instruction, where she continues to support and elevate educational practices across the school, ensuring that both students and educators have the tools and resources they need for success.

Outside of the classroom, she enjoys cooking, baking, and exploring creative outlets, always seeking new ways to combine passion and creativity in everyday life.
